Founded in 1981, CURE is a grassroots network of patient advocates from
a broad range of professional, political, and religious backgrounds bound together in a common cause: uncompromising opposition
to euthanasia. To this end, CURE promotes Compassion, Unity, Research, and Education.

Compassion
As our logo testifies, CURE believes that to care is not to kill. We offer
families challenged by medical, emotional, and spiritual crises genuine love that strengthens the entire
family—not love's counterfeit which sacrifices its most vulnerable member. CURE offers practical help to families targeted
for euthanasia. We speak from first-hand experience, as our advisors have fought anti-life assaults on their loved
ones, their patients, and themselves. CURE provides an alternative to surrendering to death and despair: the nurturing
of life and hope.
Unity
CURE's ranks includes attorneys, clergy, disability rights advocates, economists,
editors, educators, nurses, pharmacists, physicians, pro-life leaders, psychologists, respiratory therapists, scientists,
social workers, theologians, writers, and other concerned citizens in a comprehensive coalition that shares resources
and joins efforts to combat euthanasia. Our Life Support Directive is designed to protect signers
from a premature grave from nontreatment. It is a product of CURE's collaborative efforts. We activate our network to protect
human beings today—not simply humanity tomorrow.
Research
CURE advocates the adage: know your enemy. Our continual study combines a review of euthanasia's history
with ongoing investigation of its present practices, perpetrators, and proponents—overt and covert. We monitor
and analyze such anti-life developments as "brain death," checkbook euthanasia, DRG's, durable power of attorney, HMO, hospice,
infanticide, "living will," managed care, no code and slow code, organ transplantation, prenatal euthanasia, terminal sedation,
etc. CURE's practical research arms us for the lifelong fight for life, a right inherent in life's presence and not dependant on
its perceived "quality."
Education
An old, yet ageless, Book of wisdom warns: "My people are destroyed
for lack of knowledge." By deed as well as word, CURE strives to inform our fellow citizens of the growing danger that
euthanasia to their survival and America's. The greatest teachers teach by the example of their lives. Some of CURE's
advisors have lived in coma for several years. They have taught us invaluable lessons about the will to live, which
is infinitely preferable to the "living will." We believe that wisdom is not limited to this world and that the
Creator of life has blessed man with reason to defend it. May He grant us the wisdom and courage to defend every
life as though it were our own.
