Organic Gardening Tips
Use newspaper or cardboard under your barkdust and mulch, instead of plastic or
landscape cloth. Newspaper and cardboard will prevent the growth of weeds just as
well, if not better. It allows water to penetrate and over time, it breaks down
and organically becomes mulch.
Spray a mix of 1 tablespoon of milk with 1 quart of water on roses once a week to
eliminate black spot.
