The North Carolina Foundation for Public School Children
Parent Involvement Grant
The North Carolina Foundation for Public School Children
will again award a limited number of grants to low wealth schools or school districts to enhance parent involvement
in their children’s education. Any NCAE member may request such assistance for a school or district interested in working
with improving the skills and/or knowledge of parents. To apply, please follow the grant proposal guidelines outlined. Click

PARENT INVOLVEMENT GRANT APPLICATION
Professional Development Grant
The North
Carolina Foundation for Public School Children has established ten
(10) Professional Development Grants of $1,000 each, to be awarded to low wealth schools or school districts during the current
school year. The grants are named in honor of Governor James B. Hunt, Jr. and are available as of July 15 of each year. Any
NCAE member is eligible to apply for a grant for his/her school or local, if located in one of the low wealth school districts
as defined by the State Department of Public Instruction. To apply, please follow the grant proposal guidelines outlined below.

For both grants, please mail to Kelvin L. Spragley, NCFPSC, P.O. Box 27347, Raleigh, NC 27611. You may also fax the information
to 919-829-1626, or email it to kelvin.spragley@ncae.org. The deadline for returning the grant application is November 1 of
each year. Decisions on all grant requests will be decided upon by November 15.
NCAE Instructional Professional Development At-Risk Grant
NCAE Members! Does your school need extra $upport
with
at-risk-students, community partnerships, or the improvement of school climate? Your Association is offering competitive mini-grants ranging from $500 to
$1,000 to schools that have an active School Improvement Teams that submit a winning grant proposal. NCAE has limited resources, so in order to be
considered your completed grant proposal must be received no later than November 1.
Incomplete or insufficient proposals will not be
returned or corrected.
