The CASA State Match was a once again a great event the weather this was picture perfect with temps in the mid 70s and very little wind This year we had a 100 shot match with 56 shots on Saturday and 44 shots on Sunday. After the match on Saturday we had a Mexican style meal with carne asada and chicken tacos, rice, beans, chips and sodas. Sunday featured Deli sandwiches, chips and sodas while the awards and prizes were handed out.

There were 17 shooters on Saturday and 18 on Sunday. Five shooters came out from Arizona and one from Nevada for our big match of the year. The Arizona group was really tough and took 3 out of 4 of the top spots in the PCP class. Dale Keiser was the overall match winner after a tough shoot off with Bobby Corcorran. Doug Miller was third overall after a shoot off with Steve Montgomery. Doug Miller was also crowned the State PCP Match Champ. In the Piston Class Joe Haddod was the State Piston Champ after coming on strong on Sunday to best Dave Frederick by one point overall. Terry Depew was third in the Piston Class. Larry Durham won the first official CASA State Hunter Match.
