A basic concept that System Engineers use in design is requirements, design, integrate and validate, and implementation.
A lot of times you will find this in what is called a Systems "V" diagram.

It is important that across each system that you have defined for your team that you spend the time to develop a concept,
set up some requirements, design it, validate it, and then bring it to operation. As you develop each of the systems,
you will have to integrate the individual systems into your complete team design.
An overview of the robot design cycle is outlined in the discussion about the construction phase, try to use
the same principles for the other systems on your team.
