Tango Argentin Tango Argentin is directed by David Black. David has been dancing argentine
tango and other partner dances for 11 years and has studied with some of the
most well-known, world-class, masters of Buenos Aires. He has taught and
performed over the past 8 years with various partners in the United States,
Canada, Argentina and France. He has appeared on
documentaries and local television broadcasts in the United States and given
lectures and demonstrations at numerous events and universities. His style is traditional
Tango Salon. Men say they like his style and precision and women say they
like his elegance. On stage he presents a fluid, alternating, close and open
embrace and fantasia appearance. At the milongas he is a respected social
dancer. His teaching is
appreciated by both followers and leaders alike as he is one of the few
maestros that demonstrates ample material for followers and he breaks down
material step-by-step for leaders in a clear and detailed way. He is also one
of the few teachers that pays attention to not just technique and patterns
but acts as an excellent visual coach on style.
