He Who Casts a Shadow

Actually this little beauty is known as the "Sword of Light" from Celtic myth. AKA Fragarach, which means "the Answerer." It was wielded by Manannan mac Lir, the sea and weather god before he passed it to Lugh the long-handed, the Sun god. Later Lugh gave it to the hero Cuchulainn. Lastly it was possessed by Conn, whereafter its whereabouts are unknown. Legend has it that no armor could repel this weapon. Michele-lee Phelan created the picture for me.

This is it, my first website. I've never done this before so I am trying to include a selection of my interests, a personality pu-pu platter, if you will. You're gonna find pics of my family, samples of my artwork and artwork that I had done for me. My biggest project is getting all the Christmas Cards I drew on the site. It is probably what I am most known for, among those who know me, so I thought it would be cool. Take a peek. Just click on the little card to go straight to the Cards page.

I will try to put a sample of something that displays each of my interests. So as you look around you will find stuff on knighthood, horror, fantasy, heavy metal, samurais, swords, my kids, my wife, and maybe even the new addition, Rudy (our dog.) Oh yeah, if I ever take my first deer bow-hunting, then I'll get a pic of that on here as well.

Okay, over there on the top right you will see a preliminary sketch for my coat of arms. The professional artwork should be done within two months and I will get that up as soon as I can.

On the bottom right is my helm. Yes it is an actual, working knight's helm. It is meant and capable of being used in combat, mock combat at least. I have a bunch of other armor as well, almost a whole suit, and I will try to get more pics on the site.
