BattleBots

Juniors will be constructing a Battlebot for the major part of the year.  This will allow students to work in a team to design a robot in a team environment.  Students then will be given individual tasks that will require them to integrate English, (Portfolios, communication to others in the group both writing and verbal.) Math, (Algebra, geometry, ratios, and trigonometry) Science (Physics) into their project. During this process we will also be teaming up with the IST (Information Systems Technology) shop to aid in computer programming. (Robot control system) 

NIMS (National Institute for Metal working Skills)

Students will be trained and tested to obtain National Certifications
