Hello Tiffany! Congratulations on your engagement & upcoming wedding! May you be as happy as I was on
my wedding day! I have to honestly say I planned my entire wedding myself and enjoyed every moment of it! Everything
<except only ONE snag> was PERFECT and the day was flawless!!! We couldn't have been happier! Here are the
answers to your questions regarding DJDave:
1. I found DJDave through a Tampa Bay Wedding website. I had done extensive research and comparisons and like what
DJDave had to offer on his website. He responded to my inquiry with an hour and then we began communicating. When
he found out about my wedding and the uniqueness of it he was as excited as I was to begin the planning. His fee is
EXTREMELY reasonable and you get a great value in his work.
2. I hired Dave for my wedding on 06/07/08 which was held at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. I was totally satisfied with
him and he did an outstanding job! The only thing I would've changed...and it was my fault...was for
him to announce that there were restrooms available at the back entrance to our area and that there were gift bags for the
guests as the departed.
3. DJDave was very customer friendly and his goal was to make everything just the way you like it! A
great feature which was available was the fact that guests could select their own requests from a jukebox if they
wanted. My guests didn't utilize this because they all loved all the music we selected!
4. Dave is definitely tuned into the crowd and atmosphere and is able to keep the party flowing. Because
my venue covered such a large area we really didn't have a "dancing crowd" but everyone loved all the music!!!
5. Dave will work with you in helping select all the right songs for the right time. My husband & I had given
him a list of requested "favorites" and it was so wonderful to know throughout the night, we would hear these songs.
The music flowed perfectly all night long and he even added complimentary "bubbles" during our first dance. He definitely
went above my expectations.
6. Dave's DJ abilities were very natural and relaxed. He was very accommodating in all respects and my guests
loved him as well. It was like having a friend there with you! Dave initially provides you with a CD of many of
the popular songs requested. He will also meet with you and your fiance in consultation to discuss your wedding
plan so that everything falls into place.
7. I don't think Dave has a weakness...he is a soft spoken southern gentleman with a great southern accent that
just complimented our atmosphere.
8. Be sure to ask for a CD of all your wedding music at the time you make your music selections so that you'll
always have it to remember! I didn't know there is really an "art" to do all the music mix and that's the time to get
that prepared. I had asked him after my wedding as an "afterthought" and he informed me of what was involved.....however
he still managed to make a CD for me!!! I love listening to it over and over to relive the memories of that incredible
day!
