The anniversary dance honors and recognizes all the married couples in attendance. The DJ will request all married couples to the dance floor. As the dance progresses, the DJ asks couples at certain time frames to move off to the side of the dance floor based on the amount years they have been married. Nobody goes to seat down, couples remain dancing on the side of the dance floor. He begins with the couple who have been married the shortest amount of time (Bride & Groom), and concludes at the end of the song with the couple who have been married the longest.

This is a sample of how the DJ calls the dance...

If you have been married less than 5 hours - Please make your way to side of the dance floor.,

6 months - Make your way to side of the dance floor.

1 year - Make your way to side of the dance floor.

5 years - Make your way to side of the dance floor.,

and then  8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 45, 48 years.
