Week 04: EASY AS PI

While helping my daughters string bead necklaces, I examined one of the beads.  I could see that it had once been a wooden sphere, but a cylindrical hole had been drilled through the center.  By placing a credit card on either side, I was able to measure the length of the hole to be 6 mm long.  Clearly, the diameter of the original sphere was somewhat longer, but without knowing the original diameter, I was able to determine the volume of the bead.  What was it?

Please give your answer to three decimal places.
