Do you have a curriculum?   Yes, the curriculum used is a thematic based. For example, a favorite with the children is DINOSAURS. We learn about herbivores and carnivores, different kinds of dinosaurs, and so on. We are using Mother Goose Time preplanned curriculum. I adapt the curriculum so that all ages can be included. We also learn about letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and sight words on a daily basis. Basic Sign Language and Spanish is also incorporated into our work.

	What if you are sick?   During the past two years I have closed one day unexpectedly. I had pink eye which is extemely contagious. I try my best to "work through" any illness. Of course, if I suspect I am contagious I will let you know. Generally if my own children are sick I just keep them seperate from the group as they are all older school-age children. It is a good idea to have a back up plan "just in case".

	Do you have help? Yes, Miss Kacey works daily from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Kacey came highly recommended. She is a full-time student at UNT. Miss Kacey demonstrates patience, understanding, consistency, and lots of love.   If I need to schedule any appointments I do so during nap time while Miss Kacey is here. All the children adore her. We are blessed to have her!

Do you have pets? Yes, we have cats and dogs. Though most of the children want to greet our pets, I keep them seperated most of the time. The children do not share the playground with the dogs. They are kenneled or placed on the other side of the yard. The backyard is also cleaned on a daily basis.   We also have fish, hamsters,  and turtles. One of the jobs on our helper chart is to feed the fish. This is the most prized job!
