Hello, my name is Shelley
Fudge-Pugh. My husband Emmett and I are proud parents of four children. My son Bryson is an 5th grade student at Woodrow
Wilson. He loves science and is in Orchestra. Emmett's daughter Mariah is a 4rd grade Honor Roll student at Sam Houston.
Aaron, my step-son, is a 8th grader in Theatre and National Junior Honor Society at McMath Middle School. And Hannah,
my step-daughter is a Sophmore member of The Silverados at Guyer High School.
I first got started in the home child care business when my own son was
a year old. As a first time mother I was not happy with the kind of care that I found. I left every interview in tears. I
decided to start my own business providing the kind of care that I knew I wanted for my own child. I began providing
quality child care in May of 1997 as a Registered Day Care Home. A year later I advanced to a Licensed Home.
I received a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Texas Woman's University in
December 2001. During which time that I took a short break from child care. My husband Emmett and I opened a small Child Care
Center in 2003. The Center did not allow me to operate while maintaining my own goals and philosophy. So i went back to where
my heart is in Home Based Child Care in 2004. It was the best decision I could have ever made!
Home Child Care allows me to provide quality care in a comfortable and
healthy environment. I develop close relationships with the children and families in my care. I hope you too can enjoy all
