Current Research Projects:
(1) A peer-reviewed research paper has been accepted for Pre-Columbiana a Journal of Long-Distance Contacts, entitled: "Comparing Chinese and Mesoamerican Calendar Dates." It compares calendrical day names and their sequencing, and will appear in 2014.

(2) I created four new alphabets for English that appear at Omniglot.com.
The web pages listed below, all found at Omniglot.com, will continue to be available ONLY AT THAT WEBSITE after September 30, 2014.

Note: Square Word Calligraphy is based on the original work of Chinese artist, Xu Bing (徐冰).  Xu's system is otherwise known as New English Calligraphy (英文方块字), and was developed in 1994.  In 2012, I modified Xu's Sino-Roman alphabet (I use a different set of equivalent symbols, shown below) and created my own style of writing English words.

(3) The version(s) of the Sino-Roman Alphabet that I use in my Square Word Calligraphy artwork:

(11) Red Yin and Yang versions of another kind of name seal: the initials "DBK".  The initial letter of my first, middle and last names, together, form a single Square Word Calligraphy character that can stand for my whole name.
