My Career as software engineer

I work in the field of software engineering in Visual C++ for Win32 platforms (Windows XP) and c# with .NET.

Lately I've been the lead programmer in a WPF/C# project, check Dolphin site for details about the Aquarium project.

I used to work as programmer and analyst programmer in several firms working with Access and Visual Basic in management fields (accounting and so on) long time ago back in Spain.
In the mid 90's I got a chance to work again in C/C++ (my favorite language) and switch to work for the Research and Development department of a great electronics firm of Madrid working in both English and Spanish in Visual C++ under NT developing a 2D CAD program. Main task were: analysis, programming, documenting and testing (FUSION OO Method.)
After that I spend 5 years working as a teacher, it's not that bad, I like teaching, but I feel like a software engineer, so I started to search for a job again.
A few after getting my new degree (Ingenieria Superior en Informatica), I got a cool offer from the USA, and here we are in the US!. We are living in Thousand Oaks, CA, not far from Los Angeles and I am working as a software engineer again, for Dolphin Imaging Systems, a really great company with great people (not by size but quality).
I am doing lot of MFC programming there from UI to ActiveX or ATL stuff.
Lately, I've been involved in 3D and DirectX with some .NET programming. My latest discovery was managed DirectX for C#, kind of cool, here you have a couple links ZBuffer and MDX info.

Do you like 3D editing, animation, create your own textures,...? Then you may want to check this out:

I've been always interested in Linux too, so I keep an eye on it and do some research from time to time. Lately I've been "playing" with SDL and some more stuff related to video games... Cool!

(complete resume, examples of my work and references upon request, although I am NOT actively looking for job now)

My resume in sort:

Experience in C# on .NET 1.1 and 2.0 (from 2003) Worked in a ISO 900X compliant environment, so I know how that goes. Good knowledge of MFC and VC++ standards (OLE, COM, DirectX, ODBC,...). Lot of time invested in Freeware libraries and code (gcc, SDL, ...) I.E.E.E. member, my goal: be up to date in the software engineering business.
