The Mirror cell is a 18 point floating type, the first try at a cell had spring discs to hold the mirror down.  This introduced severe astigmatism in which the stars actually looked like squares.  The new design has clips that move with the whole mirror and cell as a unit.  The bottom left photo is before the lightening holes.
