I'm a freelance editor, and my experience includes working with news media content, children's novels, card games, board games, public relations/marketing materials, and more. I'm familiar with both Chicago Manual of Style and Associated Press Style. I mostly do copyediting, but have ventured into developmental and substantive editing as well.

I'd love to work on cookbooks, books about cat care, and adult fiction, and hope I will come across an appropriate opportunity soon. Dream job: Copy editor for a gossip rag, so I can fulfill my addiction to celebrity gossip while actually doing work!

In my free time, I volunteer at the Progressive Animal Welfare Society. I'm a huge fan of cats, and volunteering at the shelter gives me the opportunity to help the unfortunate kitties who have lost their homes or were not lucky enough to have one to begin with. One of my favorite parts of the job is matching up the perfect person with the perfect cat. It's an amazing feeling to know that not only have I helped a cat find it's forever home, but to see the joy in the adopter's eyes when they find their wonderful furry companion.
