| 1982 NFC Championship: Redskins (31) vs. Cowboys (17) at RFK |
| Quality: Excellent 2-discs Two audio tracks! One the Madden/Summerall broadcast from TV, the other the CBS radio broadcast with Hank Stram and Jack Buck |
| This is the greatest Redskin victory of all time. What could be better than beating the Cowboys at home to get into the Super Bowl, knocking Danny White out of the game and making him cry on the sidelines, forcing the entire Cowboy team to COME BACK onto the field for one last snap after they all went into the locker room thinking the game was over...?
For all us Redskins fans, this was our Super Bowl that year, and the next game was just icing on the cake. This game also features two audio tracks, one the Summerall/Madden broadcast and the other the CBS national broadcast from Hank Stram and Jack Buck. Also features all the pregame, halftime and postgame. In the pregame, the Dallas d-line coach calls the Redskins' O-line "the sweathogs" and talks about how he hates them. Boy, this is one satisfying victory, even after all these years. Note: The radio broadcast disappears briefly during the great Darryl Grant pick for a touchdown to ice the game. |
