1983 Regular Season: Redskins (37) vs. Raiders (35) at RFK
Quality: Very Good
Too bad this wasn't the Super Bowl that year. This was voted the best game in the NFL in 1983, as the Redskins and Raiders slug it out, only to have the 'Skins come back in amazing fashion to pull out a miracle win with a Joe Washington touchdown. A long Joe Washington screen helped get the Redskins in position to win; ironically, the Raiders coaches would remember that screen play, and when the Redskins tried to use it in Super Bowl XVIII, the Raiders picked it off for a TD just before halftime. This is a classic Redskin game. Oh, and it's Darrell Green's rookie season, too. He makes some fantastic plays.
