1987 NFC Championship: Redskins (17) vs. Vikings (10) at RFK
Quality: Very Good
The Redskins struggle to get this win, but they get it. Doug Williams especially has a less than stellar day, making his later performance in Super Bowl 22 even more surprising. His one highlight is a long pass to Kelvin Bryant for an early score. After that, the Skins basically just try to hang on.

The highlight of the game is the Vikings' last play, a last ditch attempt in the end zone on fourth down that is dropped at the goalline by the Vikings receiver. Gibbs can be seen on his knees on the sidelines just before this play, hoping and praying that the pass would fall incomplete.

The Skins head to another Super Bowl, and the Vikes are sent back to the cold of Minnesota once again.

This comes from a master VHS source, so the quality is very good, but there are a few meaningless plays missing. It seems that whoever originally recorded it would occasionally switch the channel during commercials and didn't always get back to the game in time. Again, this doesn't detract from the game, as nothing important is missing, but just wanted to make it known that there are a few plays missing, mostly on the Vikings' drives.
