| 1988 Regular Season: Redskins (35) vs. Cowboys (17) in Dallas |
| Quality: Very Good+ |
| Gibbs and Beatherd always had the team ready in case of emergency. When
Doug Williams went down early in the '88 season, Mark Rypien stepped
in, and, although he had some growing pains, he showed great promise.
Here, he takes a shot at the hated Cowboys, and he rips them up. The
Redskins thoroughly dominate the boys on their home field, and Kelvin
Bryant is especially amazing in this game, breaking big runs, catching
passes, etc. This is Landry's last year as the Cowboy coach. It's
obvious that Dallas is floundering here. |
