1991 NFC Playoffs: Redskins (24) vs. Falcons (7) at RFK
Quality: Very Good+
The "Seat Cushion" Game
Jerry Glanville tries every psychological approach from his crazy book, but to no avail. He has the whole Falcons team come out for the coin toss. He has them all hold up a Redskins helmet before the start of the game. He is animated on the sidelines; but his team still gets their freakin' butts kicked, despite Lohmiller missing a few field goals.

This game is known as the "seat cushion" game because at one point, towards the end of the game, complimentary seat cushions that were handed out before the game begin to rain down onto the muddy field from throughout RFK. It's a great moment of celebration as the Redskins faithful know they're well on their way to another Super Bowl.

Deion Sanders does nothing in this game, by the way, which is also quite satisfying.

This game came to me on DVD already, so it did not go through my usual encoding process. Still, the quality is very strong.
