The Broncos come out fired up. Their first play on offense goes for a long TD, and Elway later sets up a field goal by catching a pass on a crazy reverse play. But then, the Redskins defense woke up, holding the Broncs the rest of the way while the offense woke up a bit more slowly.

Williams goes down with an apparent knee injury, and it looks like the Redskins are in really big trouble, but he comes back soon after and, from his own 20, hits Ricky Sanders on a long 80-yard bomb. The rout is officially on, and the Skins never look back!
