"Ian" is from the Touchstone "Chills" litter whelped on January 28, 2000.  We call him our "practice dog".   We went to conformation classes, entered Puppy Matches, did a few shows and now, we continue to make attempts at learning to groom.  This past spring, Ian passed his ATTS, and just recieved his CGC.  "Ian" also graduated from his Basic Obedience Class.  He is having fun getting his turn to have "mom" time and to be active.   He is  much easier to work with now than when he was as a young dog.

"Peter" is a repeat breeding of the "Chills" litter, from the Touchstone "Ice" litter, whelped June 8, 2001.    Peter had a great show career, winning many Sweeps and best opposite in Sweeps ribbons, along with a Best Puppy and placing second in his 12 -18 mos. sweeps class at the ISCA National in Kentucky.  He finished by the age of 21 months with 3 consecutive majors , one being at the Kentuckiana Specialty.  Peter sat out for awhile, then gave the breed ring a whirl.  After two weekends and one BOB win, we decided to not take him in the conformation ring any longer. It was something he did not enjoy.  "Peter" received his CGC this past summer. He and I have been learning Rally together.  He loves to be with me and and he loves going to rally class.  We entered our first rally trials  Sept. 28 & 29, 2007 and I  am thrilled that in our first two attempts, have our first two legs!!  ***UPDATE*** At our third trial,Oct 14, 2007, "Peter" has completed his Novice Rally Title, which includes a 4th placement!!   Peter is OFA good and PRA clear.

Peter & Ian are out of CH Courtwood's Inn Keeper ROM x Touchstone's Wild as the Wind ROM.

"Callie" is from the Stoneypoint "Break" litter, whelped July 5, 2003.  We drove to Illinois to bring her home on her 4 month birthday.  While we worried if three Irish Setters were too many, once we saw her, we fell in love with her!  She made herself at home immediately and her and Peter are best buddies. She is a very happy and pleasant little girl..never a crabby moment! She has the sweetest temperament and personality.  We hired Coleen McGee to take Callie in the ring.  We did shows occasionally, enjoying every moment..savoring the memories.  Callie placed in both regular and sweeps classes at the ISCA National in Olympia WA.  She finished her championship on May 29, 2006.  We entered her  in a few local shows, having her go BOB 4 times.   The weekend of July 1, 2007, we decided that it was to be her last show.  She ended it with going a Group 3!  What a way to end our days in the ring!   It's time to move on to other things. Callie is OFA good.  ***UPDATE***  After two months of classes, Callie has passed her CGC and Therapy Dog INC tests. (NOV 10, 2008) After three observed visits, she has completed her Therapy Dog Certification! (Dec 2008).

Callie was bred by Jeri Lynn McClure, Dixie Demorest and Kirsten Wilson. She is out of CH Stoneypoint's Fire Away x CH Touchstone's Chilean Jewel.

"Claire" is from the Rosette "Stone" litter, whelped September 1, 2007. Isn't she just breathtaking?  In October, I received a phone call about the "possiblity" of adding a new little girl.   "Think about it", is what we were told.  Well, that took about 5 minutes and Skip and I said yes.  It was a very long three weeks of waiting until that exciting phone call came from Sue Hahnen and Diane Carl. Did we want her? So, within 45 minutes, we were in the car and on our way to Michigan to get our newest addition to our family.  She was 10 weeks old the day we brought  her home.  The timing was perfect, as we had planned on adding to our family when "Callie" became 4 1/2 to 5 years old.

"Claire" was bred by Diane Carl, Laura Edwards-Johnson and Susan Walker. She is out of CH Courtwood Stonehenge and CH Rosette Devil in a Blue Dress.  We cannot thank Sue Hahnen and Diane Carl enough, for this lovely little girl!

Due to her work schedule, Coleen could not travel to the ISCA Nationals. We thank the people who agreed to handle Callie for us including, Christie Marley at the Washington national & Loran Morgan at the Rhode Island national.  Also, to Annette Pusey for helping Coleen at Callie's last show, and taking her back in the ring for her Group 3 placement.  I'd like to thank Eileen Hackett for handling "Claire" at the Arizona National. We appreciate their help.

Thank you to Stoneypoint Irish Setters, Jeri Lynn McClure and Dixie Demorest, for a beautiful little girl.

Thank you to Sue Hahnen, Courtwood Irish Setters, for ALWAYS being there for me.
