At the Memorial Day Classics, "Claire" surprised us by going BOB at NCKC
on Friday, May 23, 2009. The following day, the Golden Triangle Irish Setter Club Specialty, Claire was Best in Specialty!
She was 20 mos. old.

Our trip to Ohio was exciting. We received our first Award
of Merit and at the Lorain County Kennel Club show, we recieved our first Best of Opposite. Not bad for 23 months old.
Miss Claire seems to do everything exciting at Specialties and large shows. We consider the little local shows "practice
and class work". We have become acclamated to heat, rain, mud and wet grass..a job completed! We are very proud
and excited to have been in the Top 20 Irish Setters 3 months in a row..May and June at #18 and July at #19. We'll
take that and are quite proud of it.
