VHFLOG32 - GenLog32 - KM Rover32 - Windows Installation



 
When you click the link to the installation file, you are prompted to `Save` or `Run` the 
self-extracting file. Click `Run` to start the installation process, then follow the
prompts.

Usually ignoring any disk space messages and file registering problems due to sharing
will still allow the software to install. I have an old installer program.

If having trouble with the automated installer: Save the file to temporary folder
and run it in Explorer {MyComputer}.


  
If a shortcut was not made by the installer: make a shortcut to run
the new application filename.



After installing the logger on your PC, you may update to the newest version at any
time by just downloading and extracting the update file(s) to your logging folder.


  
These are the programs` default paths and executable filenames:

c:\vhflog32\vhflog32.exe

c:\genlog32\genlog32.exe

c:\kmrover32\kmrover32.exe


 
To use CW/DVK/PTT/LPT functions:

CW, DVK, PTT and LPT support under NT type OS requires a 32-bit I/O port driver
[dlportio.dll] that allows direct access to hardware I/O ports. Download
and install the driver software [port95nt.exe].


 
Copy (not move) NOTEPAD.exe from your Windows folder to your logging
folder. This will provide a convenient auto-open of several files
written by the logger.
