Although the data files supplied contain `good calls`, band activity and 6-digits from the NE part of the U.S., VHF LOG can be setup using data from your local activity area. Use the supplied applications to make your own datafiles. The Pack Rat club roster (cklist.dat) can also be replaced with you own local roster. Another datafile (ck2list.dat) of local stations or frequently work stations contains the operator`s name. The master VHF datafile {vhf4k.adi} can be updated/created from your own Cabrillo logs.

To insure that stations work each other on as many bands as possible, stations in the NE part of the country follow an activity clock. The logger displays the activity band every hour. The 4 activity data files can be tailored to any part of the country.
