Chakra is a sanskrit word meaning “wheels of life” that connect us to the Source.
The term refers to the energy centers in the body that are each associated with
specific mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual levels and qualities.
There are 7 primary chakras:
1. Root (red) - sense of safety and security, grounding
2. Sex (orange) - sexual energy and creativity
3. Solar Plexus (yellow) - emotions, will, and self-esteem
4. Heart (green) - unconditional love
5. Throat (blue) - heart/mind communication
6. Third eye (indigo) - intuition and psychic ability
7. Crown (violet) - spirituality and divine connection
When the chakra system is out of balance, you can create dis-ease at any of the 4
levels. When in balance, you feel peaceful, self-directed and in perfect alignment.
A treatment consists of pulling out negative emotions and blockages, and balancing
all centers. Clients remain fully-clothed throughout the session.
