the Burgess or Glass families
of southeastern Ohio?
I think I can help!
I actively research the Burgess, Lambert,
Glass, and Bright surnames with southeastern Ohio connections. Most of my progenitors
came from Maryland and Pennsylvania,
migrating to Ohio in the early to mid-19th century. From
the early 19th to the early 20th century, most of my relatives lived in the Hocking
Valley region of Ohio, although one branch
emigrated to Indiana, one to Illinois, and one ended up
in Missouri.
At
the bottom of each family page (listed on the left) are links to additional information on that family and its allied
surnames. I have posted many photos, documents and charts. Scanning and uploading my collection is a continuous process, so
check back often.
Currently, my database contains 498 people documented
