Born in Clarksburg, WV, once home to famed magician Duke Stern, Dave Powers started his magical career at the tender age of 7 with the gift of a magic set from his Uncle.  With lots of encouragement from his mother and father and some 30 years later, Dave has become one of the most sought after magical entertainers in the tri-state area. 

He has lent his talents to a myriad of projects for Paramount Movie Studios and has performed thousands of shows across the U.S.  Dave takes particular pride in his “Summer Reading Program” shows where he encourages children’s reading and learning through the Summer Vacation months.

Not only is Dave a skilled performer but also a collector of all things magical.  With his acquisition of the Art Digman collection of magical apparatus and ephemera from the Late Duke Stern, Tommy Windsor, Virgil, Blackstone, Houdini and other greats, Dave has one of the most interesting and diverse collections in all of magicdom.  All of these treasures are housed in his collection located in a top secret location.  

In addition to being a highly sought after Illusionist, Dave Powers is also an accomplished Ventriloquist, Escape Artist, Mentalist and Live Interactive Entertainment Producer.   His many clients include theme park designs for Kings Dominion and customized holiday themed shows for large shopping arenas.
