Numbers arrived at by cosmologists indicate
the expansion of Space over Time
but this is because their findings
are only partial reportage.
Likewise we can only marvel
That Einstein early on could propose a steady-state theory of Universe
When the reality merely of the Action of developing and promulgating a theory
Itself disproves the Stasis it proposed.
That which is Containerless can neither shrink nor expand
but what can and does occur within, across, and throughout the containerlessness of Being
is distributed convection across states, which is to say "across form—energy through matter—space, and time"—
giving the appearance,
to observers perceiving only subaspects of that Cycle,
Of expanding spacetime, and the similarly fantastic apparencies
Of Universe Beginning
And Universe's End.
No two Nows across all possible Wheres—
No two Wheres across all possible Nows—
Share or can share an identical State in this distributed Convection.
The Universe—the sum of all possible possibilities, causes, and effects,
in which all too many of us nonetheless contrive to fail to find Home—
Is a bubbling cauldron
That supplies its own Flame
And fully contains its own Steam.
