Vital Statistics: Born in Houston, Texas, August 1, 1973. Haven't died yet. (<-- This is the really important bit.)
Occupation: Author and violinist, but if you haven't gleaned that by now I'm just not sure what else I can do for you.
Education: Master of Music in Violin Performance, UC Santa Barbara, 1997; Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance, Rice University, 1995.
Trivia (in no particular order): I'm
primarily of mixed Cherokee and Scotch-Irish ancestry. I live very near
Ted Bundy's old Lake Sammamish hunting grounds. I have two completely
spoiled cats. My husband Brett, who's not quite so spoiled, is a
software/games professional currently laboring in vassalage to
Microsoft.
I've
traveled to Japan, France, Germany, and Italy, and was able to ask
where the restroom was in each location. Understanding the answer was
sometimes another matter. I am a proud alumna of the High School for Performing and Visual Arts,
which I completely credit with saving my adolescence. I regularly goob
out on medieval history, costume history, history history, world music,
the Muppets, Blackadder, MST3K, MMORPGs, and a host of other subjects
that seal my nerd status for ALL TIME.

Personal blog
I
have a LiveJournal blog for my musings, rants, shout-outs, poems,
and other miscellaneous whatnot. Relatives and friends claim to find it
entertaining. Why not see if you agree?

Me @ Amazon
When
life gets me down, I can do this search on Amazon and remind myself
that at least I'm immortalized in one place! A handy way to see my
published works at a glance. The "Sarah Jo Roark" music downloads and
the American Promise stuff is not me, but all the rest is!
