Waterfront Session for BSA Lifeguard at Camp Woodland
Spring 2000

The waterfront session for our BSA Lifeguard course is held all day Saturday at Camp Woodland. Scouts and Scouters receive intensive instruction in canoeing, rowboat rescue and waterfront administration and leadership. We place extra emphasis on preparing the participants for leading canoe treks since a large percent of the BSA Lifeguards in this area use their BSA Lifeguard for this. The Spring 2000 course consisted of twelve pool sessions, four classroom sessions, and an all day waterfront session.
