The sniper tab which was worn by sniper school grads who were sent back to their battalian units in sniper teams.
This is the first step in locating former snipers of the Americal Division, former instructors at the school, and others -so far there are only a few of us who have contacted each other via Americal Division Association. The goal is to find all attendees of all classes at the school and a list of instructors. It is hoped that there are many brothers out there who may be searching the internet on "Americal" or even "sniper" and will come across this page. I have recently placed another page on the net and it may be difficult to get this one listed in all the search sites. There also will be those of you who find this site and are interested in the area of "sniping" , you probably won't find what you are looking for here. There are some gun-ho sites out there, this isn't one of them. The purpose of this site is to locate people who shared common training, friends, and experiences. At this point there is no interest in reliving the experience, rather, let's try to locate and communicate with as many of our buddies as possible. A few pictures are included here, there are more which will be posted later.
