Here are the sites of some excellent artists.
Art Sites
CharMing Art
| Char is a very talented watercolorist whose floral macros are "gob-smackingly" incredible. She's equally adept with other subjects such as animals and still lifes. One of my favorites is "Emerald Vase".
Fagan Studio
| Beverly's work is bold, colorful, and masterfully done. She excels with many subjects - florals, landscapes, interiors, animals, and more. Her "Foggy Pathway" just knocks my socks off.
Art from the Heart
| Pam is another artist who clearly has mastered many subjects, including still lifes, landscapes, florals, and portraits. I just love her "Copper Pots" and "Primary Peppers".
Lyn Cherry Studio
| Lyn is yet another multi-talented artist. Whatever you prefer - florals, landscapes, portraits, animals - she can do it. I enjoy her different approaches, from dramatic to subtle. I think my favorite is "Sandro's Mask".
Gilberte Vermeulen Watercolors
| Nobody does florals like Gilberte does. Her work features lovely colors and values supported by solid compositions. And check out her delicate, beautiful landscapes.
Art by Judy-Joy
| Judy-Joy, an artist for many years, recently discovered watercolor painting. Like many of the others here, she excels at a wide variety of subjects. I especially like "Red Peppers and Chinese Cup" and "Wreck of the Cherry Venture".
Ruth Harris Watercolors
| Ruth is a talented and prolific artist, obviously comfortable with any subject from florals to landscapes, portraits to still lifes, animals to architecture. My two favorites are "Fields of Gold" and "In your Face".
Andrea's Art Gallery
| Andrea can do it all. My favorites are "Tea Set in Sienna" and "Grapes and Crystal", but her portraits are special too. Check out "A Moment of Silence".
Island Grove Art
| Gail's landscapes of her native Ontario area are fantastic. My favorites are "Roches Point Barn" and "Lake Muskoka Lighthouse. But don't miss seeing how good she is at a still life or floral.
The Perkins Gallery
| I love Jim Perkins' watercolors. He says so much so clearly and simply - truly proving that "less is more". I don't think I can decide on a favorite, because each new painting of his becomes my new favorite.
Harry's Watercolors
| Harry Compier's watercolors display a clean, fresh, and appealing style. Whether it's a landscape, seascape, floral, or still life - if Harry did it, it's a treat to see. Some of my favorites are Torenvalk, Zonnebloemen, and Boat Schotland.
Peter Saw Watercolors & Pastels
| Peter's site has a lot to offer, including some helpful tips and resources for the aspiring watercolorist. For me, the highlight is his Gallery of paintings. Check out these favorites of mine: River Trent Shardlow; Fishing Boat, Paphos, Cyprus, and his mini-watercolors.
Lauren Everett Finn
| Lauren's watercolors are remarkable. She can take just about any subject and show us so much feeling. Check out her Year of Paintings Project Gallery to see what I mean. My favorites include Ngorongoro Crater, Ivan, Seascape Sunset, and both incredibly sensitive portraits of Nant.
