Don Kennelly is the president of Process Improvement, a quality management system consulting company.
Using the guidelines of international standards, I provide solutions that yield improvement in workflow, productivity, efficiency, compliance with customer’s requirements, and achievement of strategic objectives. This is accomplished by assisting the staff of the Company improve their current management system. I specializing in ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS9120 management systems.
I believe an effective, self-sustaining, and compliant management system: · Is supported by top management and fits the Company culture. · Uses customer feedback and the findings from internal audits to drive the continuous improvement process. · Uses the training process to provide effective understanding of the system and needed instruction. · Ensures the amount of documentation is minimal. The amount is determined by the requirements of the governing standard and what is necessary to ensure effective planning, operation, and control.

I specializing in improvement of the operations activities of a business. I have over 30 years of operations experience. I have worked with all levels of executives at Mattel Inc., Cox Hobbies, Ansen Automotive Engineering, Carrier Corporation, and Accuride International Inc. Prior to consulting, I held the positions of Director of Quality Assurance, Quality Assurance Engineer, Operations Supervisor, and Manufacturing and Industrial Engineer. I have a B.S. in management from CSULB and am a member of the Association of Professional Consultants and the American Society for Quality. I have worked with the ISO standards since 1996 and have implemented ISO 9001 and AS9100 at several sites. As an individual who used the standard to manage several sites, I know how to assess a company and ensure the implemented system provides value.
