Photographs are taken using a state-of-the-art 360° panning and tilting camera system mounted under a radio controlled helicopter. The helicopter is capable of flying in locations where full size aircraft cannot. Using a separate radio control system the camera operator watches a live wireless video feed on a monitor below and aims the camera. Individual photos are taken when alignment is exactly what is desired. A Nikon digital camera is used for the final photos. It has a 3.2 mega pixel resolution for high quality images. |
