Jim Dunn

As Owner and Broker of Dunn Real Estate Services, I decided to concentrate on selling Real Estate in the North Side of Pittsburgh in 1989.  I was born and raised on the Northside of Pittsburgh. I left Pittsburgh for a several years and worked and lived in several big Cities and realized how great a place Pittsburgh is.
The North Side is going through a transformation from an inner city, working class area that has struggled with a reputation as a tough neighborhood to an exciting, historic, and convenient place to live.
I know how the North Side was, how it is, and where it’s going.  I’m aware of and proud off North Side’s (Allegheny City) history. The North Side of Pittsburgh has over 15 separate neighborhoods--all distinctly different.

Today the "Dunn Real Estate Services" logo is a familiar site on the landscape.  I started Dunn Real Estate in 1993, before it was “hip” to move to the City.
More than 15 years later we are still helping homeowners sell their city homes and helping first-time homebuyers and investors realize their dreams and achieve their goals.Over the years I've been an active community participant, as a former President of the Northside Chamber of Commerce, Board member of East Allegheny Community Council, PCRG Representative, Consultant for Fineview Citizens Council and member of Troy Hill Citizens and Spring Hill Citizens League neighborhood councils.
I know all the neighborhoods, their characteristics, features and home values. The City and the North Side is unique in determining a value of a given home. On any given street there may be a home worth $200,000 next to a home worth $40,000 or even $10,000. Only an experienced professional real estate broker specializing in marketing City property knows how to give a realistic market value of your home.
