A Day in a life.
From the time the alarm wakes us, we juggle
it. We feed our body 2-3 times. We try and stay on the ball,
while we vent our frustrations in a sane manner. We end our day with a little rest and relaxation and might fall asleep watching the boob tube.

| A lovely sight! |

"A Dear Story"I was walking up my drive one afternoon lately, with mail &
paper in hand. As I reached the house I looked up to see two white tailed deer in my back yard, just staring back at me.
They were only about 40 ft. away, and we were all at a standstill.
I stood quietly watching them, wondering why they didn't bound away as usual. I noticed they were both a doe, when one of
them began stomping her feet and walking toward me a few steps. I then began slowly scanning the hillside lawn. About 30 ft.
up from them, on a level area, I saw a 3 mo. old fawn grazing on the grass. Now I began piecing things together, as she continued
with her threatening moves. Lo and behold, another one mo. old fawn appeared next to the older one. I continued watching this
beautiful sight for a couple more minutes. Along came a antlered buck, swaggering around behind the babies. I slowly backed
off out of view and dashed into my home to get my camera. My plan was to sneak around the other side of the house and snap
a few pictures. As my hillside came into view I noticed the Fawns had switched places with the Doe and were grazing in the
taller grass. Camera almost ready for a shot, one of the fawn spotted me, jumped 3 ft. in the air and ran back up the hill.
By the time I took the picture, all I got was 3-4 tails bouncing along the path behind my pond. I was somewhat disappointed,
but since then I've seen the mothers and slightly larger babies alot more, in the same area behind my home. It is a great
feeling to know I have a family of deer making a home in my woods.
