The Bradley Effect
I just heard about this. In this election we can see
just how significant the Bradley Effect is. It is when a black candidate runs against a white candidate and the black candidate
is way ahead in the polls. And then the white candidate wins. This will be an exciting election. May the best candidates win.
There are different theories about this like the white
person not wanting to say that he is not voting for the black person. It could be that many of the black voters do not go
and vote that day. Maybe they figure there is no need. In fact that would be a motivation for the people saying that they
are voting for the black candidate when they are not.
After seeing Governor Sarah Palin some more, I am convinced
that she has her heart in the right place and cares about the people, like a mother cares about her child. That is what is
missing in politics. Also she does not want to do wrong since it would not be pleasing to God.
Also there is Joe the plumber and the commercials of
people saying that they are Joe the plumber. Palin would be good at cutting government wasteful spending since she lowered
her own income as mayor, which reduces her state's government spending.
Here is a great site to see the very latest polls
in all the states, with a map of the country. One day it was dead even in Florida and then a day later, Obama was ahead by
2%. Electoral Votes Map

The Right to Bear Arms
Robbing a Gun Store
Governor Sarah Palin lauded the U.S. Supreme Court's
landmark decision upholding the right of Americans to own guns for self-defense, hunting and other purposes. The high court's
5-4 ruling in District of Columbia vs. Heller affirmed gun rights by striking down the District's 32-year-old ban on handguns.
I saw this story on the internet. After stepping
around a marked police patrol car parked at the front door, a man walked into H&J Leather & Firearms intent on robbing
the store. The shop was full of customers and a uniformed officer was standing at the counter. Upon seeing the officer, the
would-be robber announced a hold-up, and fired a few wild shots from a target pistol.
The officer and a clerk promptly returned fire,
and several customers also drew their guns and fired. The robber was pronounced dead at the scene by Paramedics. Crime scene
investigators located 47 expended cartridge cases in the shop. The subsequent autopsy revealed 23 gunshot wounds. Ballistics
identified rounds from 7 different weapons. No one else was hurt.

Sarah Palin in V.P. Debate
At the beginning of the debate, Palin asked Biden if
she could call him Joe. She asked this since 'Joe' rhymes with 'so'. Then she was able to use this great line a few times,
"Say it ain't so, Joe."
It looks like I am wrong. I did a search for this line and it is famous and
from 1919. Newspapers said that some boys said this to "Shoeless" Joe Jackson. He was a baseball player and was testifying in court about his team throwing the world series.
Racism is considered to be very bad in America. Sexism
is considered to be OK since it was practiced in biblical times. Even now a woman cannot become a priest or an Orthodox Jewish
rabbi. Black men got the right to vote before women did.

Best Sarah Palin Highlights
At Wasilla high school, Sarah Palin was
captain of the girls' basketball team. She helped the team win the Alaska basketball championship
in 1982, making a critical free throw in the last seconds of the game, despite having a fractured ankle. She got the nickname "Sarah Barracuda" because of her intense play.
Palin won the Miss Wasilla Pageant beauty contest. Then she
finished third (second runner-up) in the Miss Alaska pageant, at which she won a college scholarship
and the "Miss Congeniality" award. Palin got her Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism.
Sarah Palin was elected twice to the city council of Wasilla,
in 1992 and 1995. Palin says she entered politics because she was concerned that revenue from a new Wasilla sales tax would
not be spent wisely. She served 2 terms (1996-- 2002) as mayor of Wasilla. Palin reduced her own $68,000 salary by 10%,
although later this was reversed by the city council.
Frank Murkowski resigned from his long held U.S. Senate seat to become governor.
After Palin finished her second term as mayor, Governor Murkowski appointed her to the Alaska Oil and
Gas Conservation Commission. Sarah Palin chaired the Commission beginning in 2003, and served as Ethics Supervisor.
She resigned in January 2004, protesting what she called the "lack of ethics" of fellow Republican
members.
After resigning, Palin filed a formal complaint against Oil and Gas Conservation
Commissioner Randy Ruedrich, also the chair of the state Republican Party, accusing him of doing work for the party on public
time and of working closely with a company he was supposed to be regulating.
Palin also filed a complaint against Gregg Renkes, a former Alaska Attorney
General, accusing him of having a financial conflict of interest in negotiating a coal exporting trade agreement, while Renkes
was the subject of investigation and after records showed a possible conflict of interest had been released to the public.
Ruedrich and Renkes both resigned and Ruedrich paid a record $12,000 fine. She took a big risk to
do this. This was the defining moment in her career.
In 2006, running on a clean-government platform, Palin defeated the
current Governor Murkowski in the Republican primary. Before being governor, he had been a U.S. Senator for over 20 years.
Despite spending less money than her Democratic opponent, she won the election in November, defeating former governor
of Alaska, Tony Knowles. Palin became Alaska's first female governor and at age 42, the youngest
governor in Alaskan history.
See post below to see why McCain-Palin will win the election. The winner is determined by the
states they win. Obama defeated Clinton mostly in the small states that vote Republican. Clinton beat Obama mostly in the
big states that vote Democratic. This means that Palin has a chance of getting these big states to vote for McCain.

2008 Election and Sarah Palin
Modern Day St Joan of Arc
Many people were putting down Palin when she said
that she did not know what a vice president does. She was actually saying that she is used to running things like as mayor
or governor and not taking a back seat to things. At the least, her youth and beauty will energize McCain.
Sarah Palin was Miss Alaska 2nd runner-up. She got into politics, at first, just
to help her children. Palin went up against some very corrupt politicians and resigned from a committee to show her disgust
with them. But the truth came out, making her a hero. She is like the present day St. Joan of Arc.
Palin is tough, intelligent and attractive looking. She will make a great role model for girls. She has even been rebuked
for talking about the will of God in public.
She said that Obama made a mistake not picking Clinton as her running
mate. I agree. Biden said that Clinton was more qualified to be VP than he was. Clinton
got 18 million votes, just like Obama did. He should have chose her as running mate to lock in those votes for him.
When McCain announced Palin as running mate, Obama
said that McCain made a great choice. But he looked worried like these choices might have cost him the election. Palin will
get some of those Clinton votes. I was a supporter of Clinton, but now I support Palin. Will Palin get all the votes from
people who wear glasses?
I wish that Palin did not say that she stopped the bridge to no where. Now
that she has been interviewed about it and how it was already stopped, they should stop doing those commercials that say that
she stopped the bridge to no where. Then she could focus on going to somewhere over the rainbow.
She has more executive experience than Obama, McCain
and Biden combined. She has an 80% approval rating as governor. She is a governor, not a former
governor like Huckabee and Romney. It is ridiculous to judge her by what others around her do. To judge her on that, would
be like saying that Jesus was a bum because one of His closest disciples betrayed him and his closest disciple denied Him
3 times.
Obama is ahead by a little in the polls, but here is why I think McCain will
win. Many republicans may not be happy with McCain, but those Republican states are not going to vote for Obama. Gore won
the popular vote, but lost in the electoral votes to Bush. Besides McCain getting the Republican states, he will then be able
to get some swing states like Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
So the big question after McCain wins will be this. If Obama had chosen Clinton as running
mate and McCain had chosen one of the former
governors like Huckabee or Romney as running mate, would Obama had won the election? Obama made a bad strategic move
and McCain made a brilliant strategic move. McCain is like the Bobby Fischer and Obama is like the Boris Spassky. Fischer vs Spassky
Here is the strange thing. Obama did not choose his name, but he knows that people were
saying that if you change the 'b' to an 's', then Obama becomes Osama. Also his middle name is Hussein like Saddam Hussein.
But Obama did pick his running mate so it would be Obama-- Biden. So you change one letter in Obama and add 'nLa' to Biden
and you get Osama bi[n La]den.
Obama was the most famous celebrity in the world. But now with Palin on the cover of
Time and Newsweek, Palin is the most famous celebrity in the world. Talking about Palin, Obama said that Palin is quite a
phenomenon. The best part was that the news people thought that they had McCain all figured out. They thought they
knew who McCain was going to pick as running mate. Then he surprised them all.
