For many years I have used words in my art. Recently, these words are manifesting themselves as references to everyday life as newspaper fragments or as pointers to literature. My current projects attempt to create a visual, interpretation of literary journeys such as those of Homer’s Telemachus and Odysseus as well as Joyce’s Dedalus and Bloom or from the epic, Enkidu and Gilgamesh. Influences include Anselm Kiefer, Duchamp, John Barth, Joyce, Homer and Camus. I currently live and work in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. |
