WestView Spaniels is located near Farmersville Ohio where our Cavaliers and a couple of other dogs enjoy lots of country fresh air. We enjoy participating in various activities with our dogs; conformation, obedience, agility, and more recently rally. Occasionally, we may breed a litter in hopes of replicating and improving the already wonderful qualities of this breed of dog. How did we begin? Lori met Wynchester and fell in love. At the time, she was showing and breeding Quarter Horses and Labrador Retrievers. After Lori met Ernie, we began to downsize so to speak. We loved the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and set out to find another. We found Abbey and soon imported Rylie and the rest is history. We started out showing obedience with our first pair of Cavaliers, Abbey and Rylie, and both completed their CDs. (Abbey has since gone on to compete in Rally and Agility, earning multiple AKC titles in Rally and AKC and CPE titles in agility.) Soon we had a couple litters and imported a couple more dogs. After a few more CDs and keeping our best of the puppies, we decided we wanted to compete in conformation. We began with one our imported dogs, a Tri-girl named Catans Dream, or as we call her ,“Matilda”. |
