Showing Cavaliers in Conformation

The beautiful cavalier makes a wonderful show dog.  More than just a beauty contest, conformation shows help breeders compare and choose which traits they wish to continue or change in their line.  Conformation is the foundation for all other sports.  Function follows form.  A well balanced, structurally sound dog can easily compete in other dog sports’ venues.

The following WestView dogs are being shown or getting ready to be shown in conformation shows.  Please see the “Our Champions” page for those WestView dogs that have finished their conformation title.

Westview’s The Bruce Legend, “Bruce”, pictured at his first “grown up” show with Lori.  Bruce’s mother is Oakhaven’s Impulse and sired by CH WestView’s Rock’n Rochester.  Bruce took 1st in Bred By Exhibitor and Winners Dog under Judge Mrs. Charlotte P. Patterson at this show earning his first point at 7 months old.  Bruce has also taken Puppy Group I at the DKC Puppy Match April 2007.  He’s a very promising young dog.  Bruce was born September 12, 2006.  Bruce has earned his CGC and two legs toward his AKC Rally Obedience title.
