Her father was probably one of the three alderman of Geinsheim listed in 1654 and 1658: Hans, Stefan, and Melchior Haus. The Hauß family is one of the oldest in Geinsheim, mentioned already in 1500. Hans Haußen was Schultheiß in Geinsheim in 1530, and a Hans Hauß was Schultheiß in Geinsheim in 1522, 1530, 1531, 1540, and 1543. Many members of the Hauß clan were aldermen in Geinsheim from the 16th through the first half of the 18th century.

From Geinsheim. He is the first Mohr documented in Geinsheim. Jakob Mohr, listed as Gerichtsschöffe in Geinsheim in 1658, was probably his son or brother. Görg Mohr was probably his son also. Because there was no Mohr listed in earlier Geinsheim censuses, the first Mohr probably came to Geinsheim around the time of the Thirty Years' War. There are three Mohrs, including a Jakob Mohr, in a peasant list (Huldigungsverzeichnis) from Neuburg of 19 March 1636.
