Fundraising Opportunities

Both Albertson's and Safeway have fundraising options. Both require you to register your shopping card then they make donations to the Music Boosters based on what you spend during your regular shopping visits.

To register your Safeway card, click here and supply the requested information.

To register your Albertson's card, click here and choose the "Community Partners" button to the right, then choose "Log in with Preferred Savings Card" and supply the requested information.

This is a simple recycling program for printer cartridges, cell phones, PDAs, etc. A container has been placed in the band room at EHS so you can always bag them up & send them in with your students. Each summer we typically schedule two "student powered" car washes. They are at the Shell station on Inglewood Hill Road and are a ton of fun for the students. It's a great way for some Music Department "bonding" time and students can earn community service hours to boot!

The Jazz Cabaret & Auction is one of our most popular events. It is normally scheduled for the 3rd Friday in March.. Dance to live music provided by the EHS Jazz Band, EHS Jazz Choir and other Jazz ensembles in the area. Dessert and beverages are included in the cost of your ticket!

Also during the night a silent auction is held featuring items from local merchants and other community organizations. Some items offered last year were tickets to the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra, tickets to various restaurants, bowling, jazz clubs and spas. Our next Cabaret is sure to be just as exciting.

Parents: Please consider offering items to auction off. Are you great at organizing birthday parties? Perhaps you bake & decorate an awesome cake? How about putting together a family video night gift basket? Consider offering your skills & passions for auction. Anything and everything helps!! We'll post more information soon on how to make those donations.

Another of our more popular events, the Chamber Concert is the Orchestra's version of the Jazz Cabaret. Tickets are sold to the concert which features several solo and ensemble groups for an evening of music. Then, following the concert, a dessert reception is held in the commons for all attendees.
