Eileen Saint
Lauren is a writer originally from South Mississippi with over 80 publications. She lives outside
of Boston, Massachusetts near the mouth of Cape Cod in a neighborhood where Henry David Thoreau and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow planted
all the trees 100+ years ago. Thoreau and Longfellow and other poets used to compose under the tree in her front yard.
St. Lauren is a 1995 honor graduate of the University
of Nebraska. While in Nebraska, she was a Commentator on Nebraska Public Radio
Network. She was a three-year student of the distinguished poet and writer, Charles
Edward Eaton, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her favorite poet is mentor-friend and 6th Poet Laureate of the
United States, Richard Wilbur with Anne Tyler being among her favorite American Novelists.
