Established in 1973, the Rockland County Police Emerald Society is an organization commited to celebrating the Irish
heritage of the membership, while providing a positive avenue for charitable work. Its membership consists of Federal,
State and Local Law Enforcement officers and their immediate family, who either work or reside in Rockland County, NY.
The Emerald Society, through the Rockland County Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, participates in many parades,
ceremonies and events throughout the calender year for both the membership and the community at large.
Every year scholarships are awarded to some of the children or Grandchildren of members. Check our events page
for upcoming festivities.
The Rockland County Police Emerald Society is a member of the National Conference of Law Enforcement Emerald Societies.
