The Sepia Sun is a CD of Ellsworth's score for The Ballade Of Calypso Jenkins, released by Affinity Music Library. The producion was orignally an international video release from M.B. Video Features featuring cult movie favorite Conrad Brooks. It has been re-released by Vista Street Entertainment. The music is generally in a sweeping orchestral or poignant style. "Calypso Jenkins has a beautiful music score..." - Cult Movies Magazine, issue #14, 1995
"Ballade scores deepest however, with its musical soundtrack which is both poignant and heart-breaking... the music is crafted with the electronic-based string, horn, and woodwind sounds of a modern-day composer. However, the sounds, subtleties, qualities of intonation and orchestration have all been tweaked into one of the best traditional film scores available. " - Marshall Olso Review, 1995
Formely available through MIDIWorld, The Sepia Sun is being remastered and will instead be available in a new release in the near future along with the soundtracks from Del Ferrar and Jan-Gel, the Beast from the East .
