Head
Coach, Krissy Edmunds is a 1999 graduate from Hempfield High School.
She went on to college at Westminster where she earned a soccer
scholarship. Her position was sweeper and she was a starter all four years. Krissy
graduated from Westminster in 2003 with a degree in Business
Administration. She currently has 4 jobs including coaching the Varsity and JV
teams at Hempfield. She works at UPS in New Stanton, Cherry Creek Golf Course
and Turf Acres. She loves to spend time outdoors. When she isn’t working
she is a defensive Back for the women's football team the “Pittsburgh Passion”. She also spends free time playing with her niece Paityn, watching Steeler games, spending time with family
and friends, “hot tubbin”, and watching storms. Some of her favorite
foods include “Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers, Medium Fries and a Dr. Pepper from Wendy’s, and Pierogies”. She loves numerous songs, depending on her mood. She particularly fond of
the song, “You Shook Me All Night Long” by ACDC. Her favorite
movies include, Austin Powers, Ace Ventura and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Several
things that may surprise you about Krissy is that she was a cheerleader when she was little, did gymnastics for 7 years and
was frightened of storms!
