Soccer Palooza

 

An all day soccer festival featuring the boy s and girls middle school and high school teams at Hempfield Spartan Stadium at Hempfield Area High School in Greensburg.

 

Six Soccer Games Scheduled

1:00 pm Hempfield Middle School Girls vs. Laurel Highlands Junior High Girls

2:15pm Hempfield Middle School Boys vs. Laurel Highlands Junior High Boys

RECOGNITION OF YOUTH SOCCER PLAYERS

3:30 pm Hempfield JV Girls vs. Laurel Highlands JV Girls

5:00 pm Hempfield Varsity Girls vs. Laurel Highlands Varsity girls

6:30 pmHempfield JV Boys vs. Laurel Highlands JV Boys

8:00 pm Hempfield Varsity Boys vs. Laurel Highlands Varsity Boys

 

All Hempfield Recreation Soccer players are invited to attend and be recognized between the Middle School Boys game and the Junior Varsity Girls game

 

There will also be plenty of fun soccer activities happening through the day.

·        Meet a Riverhounds player and their mascot AMO

·        Fun activities and soccer skill challenges

·        On-field recognition immediately following the Boys Middle School game

·        A chance to win prices including Dicks Sporting Goods Gift Certificates

·        Come early and stay late – the concession stand will be open!

·        Free Admission and Free Parking!

·        50/50 drawings throughout the day!

·        Soccer Palooza t-shirts will be available for purchase

 

When the youth players arrive, they are to check in with the registration table and the players names will be announced when they come on the field for recognition.  At the time of registration, the youth players will also receive a chance to win some very nice prizes that include Dick’s Sporting Goods gift certificates and more!  Hempfield Recreation soccer players and coaches (in-house U5’s, U6’s, U8’s and U10’s and all travel teams) should plan to arrive no later than 2PM and stay until at least 4PM.

 

By uniting the boys’ and girls’ soccer programs, this event will promote soccer in the Hempfield Area School District and Hempfield Township community AND will be a tremendous way to reach out to the young players in the area.  The youth of both programs are important to the future and present success of our programs.  Soccer Palooza will provide a great opportunity for the boys’ and girls’ soccer programs to move forward TOGETHER!
